Hendrick de Keyser apartment Amsterdam

Charming two bedroom apartment, that can accommodate four guests, located in the Leidseplein area in Amsterdam.

This spacious two bedroom apartment is situated inside a fully renovated 17th century merchant's house, that is contemporary yet still retains many of the building's original features. This apartment features wide oak doors, wooden ceiling beams, wooden floors and stucco ornaments. The living area is furnished in a more traditional fashion, with a sofa, armchairs and a coffee table, providing the perfect place to relax and enjoy the view out over the canal. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped with everything needed to prepare meals, including an oven, hob, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a dishwasher, a toaster and a coffee machine. The kitchen area also contains a large wooden dining table for six. The two bedrooms are spacious and located in the apartment's loft, complete with wooden beams, large windows and furnished with double beds and lamps. The bathroom features a shower and washbasin, while the toilet is located separately. This apartment is also accessed by a private elevator, something of a rarity in Amsterdam. Located in the central canal belt, close to the Leidseplein, this Amsterdam apartment is ideal for two couples or a small group of friends after stylish accommodation in the heart of the city.

This apartment is located within the Central Canal Belt, a World Heritage Site with stunning architecture and a unique atmosphere. The canal belt is one of the most beautiful areas of the city with the waterways lined with trees and beautiful buildings, home to bars, cafes, restaurants and shops. Walking the canals is an amazing experience and some of the Canal Houses such as the Van Loon Museum are open to the public and should be visited if you are interested in seeing how wealthy Dutch merchants lived during the Golden Age. If you are interested in Dutch beer, cafe 't Arendsnest is unique in the sense that it only sells beers brewed in the Netherlands and is just a short walk from the apartment. Also within walking distance is Dam Square, the centre of Old Amsterdam and home to the stunning Royal Palace, Madame Tussauds, The New Church and De Bijenkorf department store. The Jordaan is well known for its charming cafes, shops and restaurants and the Anne Frank House. The apartment is in a fantastic location with many sights within walking distance and easily accessible public transport.

As four women traveling to Amsterdam for the first time, we felt very comfortable in this charming apartment on the canal. We appreciated the instructions and communications prior to arriving. We all agreed we would choose the same for a second visit.

Re: Hendrick de Keyser Apartment - Kiesergracht 582 A most comfortable and spacious 4th floor apartment overlooking a canal. Tram line was a mere 5 minute walk away with an excellent restaurant "Red" almost on the door step. Have no hesitation in recommending this apartment.
