Charming two bedroom apartment, that can accommodate four guests, located in the Jordaan area in Amsterdam.
This apartment is modern throughout while staying true to the origin of the building by maintaining traditional features such as wooden floors, high ceilings and large windows that allow in plenty of natural light. The living room is exceptionally bright and contemporary featuring a sofa, armchairs, a coffee table, a dining table with seating for four and a television. It has a stunning canal view. The open planned kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed to prepare meals in the apartment, including an oven, hob, a microwave, a grill, a fridge, a freezer, a dishwasher, a toaster and a coffee machine. The apartment features two bedrooms both of which are furnished with comfortable double beds. The bathroom is modern with a shower, bath and washbasin, while the toilet is located separately. Located in the charming Jordaan, this apartment is ideal for business or leisure travellers after Amsterdam accommodation in a charming location.
This apartment is located in the highly sought after Jordaan district, situated right on the edge of the Amsterdam old town centre. The Jordaan district was traditionally a residential area, but today is filled with shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. It is a great place to enjoy a coffee, beer or slice of traditional Dutch apple cake after shopping or just walking the canals. Just outside the Jordaan and within walking distance of the apartment is the Anne Frank House, Dam square with the must see Royal Palace and the Nine Streets shopping district rich with cafes and boutiques. The apartment is also just a short distance from the UNESCO World Heritage Protected Central Canal Belt. Amsterdam is best viewed from the water and with the canals right on your doorstep, there is no excuse not to hire a boat or take a cruise. Walking around this area you will be amazed by the stunning canal houses, many of which have been extremely well preserved, including The Van Loon Museum, which provides a fascinating glimpse into how wealthy Dutch merchants lived during the Dutch Golden Age. The Amsterdam Historical Museum is also located close to the apartment and is ideal for those interested in local history. The apartment is in a stunning location, with many of the city’s sights and attractions reachable on foot. For those places further afield, the apartment is well serviced by public transport.
